How to Assemble Your Altuvo Tower-to-Table Seat

Now that you’ve received your Altuvo Tower-to-Table Seat, you might be finding the assembly a little tricky—and that’s completely okay.

Take a deep breath, lay everything out, and let’s walk through it together. This guide will help you set up your child’s seat calmly and confidently, so you can create a space that invites independence, connection, and everyday learning.

Step 1: Identify Each Piece

Each Altuvo Tower-to-Table Seat set includes:

  • 2 × Side Panels (left & right)
  • 1 × Back Support
  • 1 × Seat Base
  • 1 × Wooden Front Bar
  • 1 × Safety Harness (pre-assembled)
  • 10 × Screws

Lay all parts on a soft, clean surface—this helps you see how each piece connects.

You’ll find:

  • Two Side Panels (each with an open handle and cut-out slots facing one another)
  • One Back Support with two strap slots at the top
  • One Seat Base with a single strap slot at the front for the Safety Harness

Take a moment to familiarise yourself with each part.

Step 2: Attach the Back Support

  1. Stand one Side Panel upright.
  2. Align the Back Support—with two strap slots at the top—and gently secure it using 2 screws.
  3. Ensure it sits flush and stable before moving on.

This forms the backrest that supports your child’s posture as they sit—steady, upright, and engaged with the world at eye level.

    Step 3: Secure the Seat Base

    1. Slide the Seat Base into the lower slot of the same Side Panel.
    2. Secure it with 2 screws, ensuring the Back Support sits firmly against the Seat Base.

    The Seat Base creates a strong yet inviting platform—a safe space where your little one can join family routines and everyday meals.

    Note: The removable safety bars with knob screws should be detached when using the Altuvo Tower-to-Table Seat.

    This attachment is suitable for children up to 15 kg or approximately 3 years old.

      Step 4: Attach the Wooden Front Bar

      1. Align the Wooden Front Bar with the screw holes near the top front.
      2. Tighten with a screw until secure.

      The Wooden Front Bar provides gentle support—offering both safety and openness as your child learns to balance, reach, and participate.

      Step 5: Assemble the Opposite Side Panel

      1. Attach the opposite Side Panel, connecting it to the Back Support, Seat Base, and Wooden Front Bar.
      2. Secure each connection point with screws—there should be 5 screws on each Side Panel.
      3. Tighten the screws gently by hand—firm enough for stability, but not so tight that the wood compresses.
      4. Check that the Wooden Front Bar feels snug and secure.

      This completes the structure—balanced, sturdy, and thoughtfully built for your child’s growing independence.

        Step 6: Attach the Safety Harness

        1. Lay the Safety Harness flat in a “T” shape, with the buckle positioned at the top centre and the release button facing upward—towards you.
        2. Each strap end has a small tri-glide buckle—the plastic piece that lets you adjust the strap length.
        3. Starting with the left strap, thread it through the top slot—entering from the front of the Back Support and pulling it out through the back until the tri-glide buckle stops it in place.
        4. Bring the strap upward and over the top of the Back Support to the front again, then loop it through the tri-glide buckle.
        5. Weave the strap through the tri-glide buckle—going up through the first slot, over the middle bar, and down through the other side. Think of it like threading a buckle on a backpack or waist belt—simple, familiar, and secure.
        6. Repeat for the right strap.
        7. For the Seat Base, thread the strap from top to bottom, loop it forward, then back up into the tri-glide buckle.
        8. Once each strap is looped, gently slide it through the tri-glide buckle to adjust the length. The goal is for your child to sit snugly and securely, yet still be comfortable enough to move naturally.

        The Safety Harness is designed to keep your child safe while still allowing the freedom to explore and engage—a balance of security and independence.

        Final Checks

        Before you introduce your little one to their new Altuvo Tower-to-Table Seat:

        • Ensure all joints are even and stable.
        • Press gently on the seat to test sturdiness.
        • The seat should feel solid, with no wobble or tilt.
